Tim Savage is a graphic designer and fine artist with a passion for visual communication and art that’s effective and beautiful. He wants to help you do it too! Tim instructs in Build Your Own Website For Fun and Profit and Multimedia Animation at Great Neck NY Community Education’s Cumberland School. He is a former adult and children’s fine art teacher with the National Art League, Douglaston, and has run workshops in watercolor painting.
Tim’s design career spans over 30 years. He has worked with world wide brands such as Diet Coke and Bayer Health Care. He has helped individual entrepreneurs launch their startup businesses. His experience categories encompass healthcare, financial services, education, consumer foods, non-profits, sports and entertainment, travel, and retail e-commerce sales of furniture, appliances and electronics. In the area of fine art, Tim has won numerous awards in watercolor, oils and pastel painting. He is a published illustrator. He is trained in drawing, and is an avid sketch artist. Tim’s fine art portfolio is available here.
Tim is a resident of Queens, NY, a borough of New York City. He is a member of the Art League of Nassau County, the National Art League (Douglaston), and an active volunteer in the Inkwell Foundation, an organization that brings cartoonists and illustrators together with children in need. Tim is a former Peace Corps Volunteer (Peru).
